Following the insight that launching and retrieving your boat from the water is one of the most stressful moments for boat owners, the Australian (boat) insurer decided to lend a helping hand. It decided to inform people about the location and ease of use of many boat ramps on the east coast of Australia, providing 360° photos and a rating on a scale from 1-10.
Whenever you look straight down in Google Maps, you can see a big blue circle with the NRMA logo and the corresponding ramp rating, displaying a cool integration into the tools people already use.
This case displays a creative way to bring a boring service like insurance to life, while at the same time showing you understand your customer by supporting them with something that matters to them. How can you tangibly show your customers that you know what they care about?
