Together with HEMA we decided which specific youth trends could be relevant for them. We studied the organization in depth and connected the trends to HEMA. This resulted in several opportunities and concepts. We gave a 60 minute lecture at the Hema HQ for 100+ employees that was attended by directors, designers and marketers.

"Inspire us by offering possible solutions for the socioeconomic problems of the troubled neighbourhoods in the south of Rotterdam by using your database of sociocultural trends."



After studying several reports and monitors on the neighbourhoods of Rotterdam, we selected three of our trends (Connected Society, Uncertain TImes and Visual Culture) to work on. We offered three solutions, each based on one of the trends. These solutions were made imaginative and presented during a 50 minute lecture at a city debate in front of employees of the company, stakeholders, journalists and local politicians.
